Register For Classes
Registration at USF is self-service via OASIS by time ticket appointment through Schedule Planner. Schedule Planner gives you the ability to plan coursework for the upcoming term(s), by providing various scheduling options that best fit your busy lifestyles. Don't forget to block-out times for desired breaks, such as free time, work, or sports by using the "Break" feature.
Need to know what Block Examinations are happening and for when they are scheduled on the Tampa Campus? Review the Exam Matrix for up-to-date schedule of courses, dates, days, times and location. Don't see your class times? email the Space Office in the Registrar's Office at: AskSpace@usf.edu.
Waitlisting is a function that academic departments may employ to allow students to add themselves to a waitlist for a course that is full. Once you are waitlisted for a course section, you will receive notification via e-mail of 24 hours to register if a seat becomes available in that section. Waitlisting is on a "first-come-first-serve" basis.

Excess Hours Surcharge
In 2009, the Florida Legislature implemented Section 1009.286, Florida Statutes to encourage students to complete their baccalaureate degree as quickly and efficiently as possible. It established what is commonly referred to as an "Excess Credit Hour Surcharge."
Residency for tuition purposes is defined by Florida School Code (SB-20E) Section 1009.21 Florida Statutes. This statute applies to all institutions of higher learning in Florida. Review more on residency to learn more about the reclassification process.
Fee Adjustments Related to ARC Petitions
You may file a Fee Adjustment Form related to a recently approved (within six months of the end of the semester for consideration) ARC Petition. Please note: ARC decisions do not affect fee liability, nor will a fee adjustment form be approved because the ARC petition was approved. Please see details related to Fee Adjustments and find the form on this website.
