Cost Sharing represents that portion of the total cost of sponsored project that is covered by the university (and/or third party) rather than the external sponsor.

Other terms used: In-Kind, Matching

Fundamental Requirements:

1. Cost Share must be identified and approved during proposal development
2. Cost share, once committed, must be met and documented
