Did you Know?

Did you know that among their stress, sadness, relationship, academic, and body image counseling, USF's Counseling Center also provides assistance counseling for Drug and Alcohol use? Virtually all college students experience the effects of college drinking and drug use – whether they use or not. When you chose to misuse alcohol or drugs it may not only be hazardous to your health, but also hazardous to the health of those around you. If you are struggling with alcohol or drug addiction, or you know a friend who is struggling, please visit the Counseling Center to get you or your friend the free help needed to beat the addiction. National Campus Safety Awareness Month
The University of South Florida Police Department, USF Department of Emergency Management, and the USF Community Emergency Response Team are hosting safety education events and training for students, faculty, and staff throughout September and October as part of National Campus Safety Awareness Month. Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off
09-14-2018, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, MSC Atrium
Immerse yourself in the Latinx and Hispanic culture with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and celebrate the importance of Hispanic Heritage Month and what it means to you. The Kick-Off tabling event will promote and affirm the Hispanic & Latinx community through positive affirmations and a card signing activity. Learn more.

In Search of Charm: Celebrating Hayat
09-14-2018, 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, MSC Ballroom
An art/talent show for charity to raise money for Syrian refugees. Featuring 50 local Tampa artists displaying and selling their work. There will also be performances throughout the night by the Latin dance club, the tones of gold, belly dancers and a lot more. Enjoy some food, get your henna done, listen to some music, and have fun while supporting a great cause. Tickets are $5 at the door or $3 on Hope to see you there for an amazing night!
