Weather Update

Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM

It sure is raining on our Parade today. 🌧

Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the Homecoming Parade and Carnival have been canceled. These are some of our favorite USF traditions and hallmarks of Homecoming week. Many remaining events have been moved indoors across all USF campuses. Please check with the event organizers for more information.

We thank all of our campus partners, team members, and departments for making this year's Homecoming Week a success. We look forward to seeing you all at the football game tomorrow!

Every year, we look forward to hosting students, staff, faculty, alumni, family members, and the community at the Homecoming Carnival & Talent Showcase. Unfortunately, after closely watching the weather forecast for tomorrow (Friday, November 5, 2021) and connecting with the Department of Emergency Management, the Center for Student Involvement has made the difficult decision to cancel this event. The decision for the Parade will be made in the morning.

This was a tough call to make - the Carnival is incredibly important event for the University of South Florida, and it's one of our favorite traditions. However, our priority is the USF community's health and safety, and we believe that canceling this event is in USF's best interest. We thank all of our campus partners, team members, and departments for making this year's Homecoming Week a success.
