what is grab-n-go bull market?
Traditionally, the Bull Market has been an open air, weekly market that hosts a combination of USF student organizations, off-campus vendors, USF departments, and various not-for-profit organizations. All parties were given the opportunity to showcase their products and services to our ever-growing student population. With over 25 years on campus, Bull Market has become one of the largest and oldest traditions at USF.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bull Market has been non-operational since the middle of the Spring 2020 semester. However, due to an uptick of students currently on campus and a desire to reinstate a sense of community, a version of Bull Market will return with COVID-19 considerations in mind.
The purpose of the Grab-N-Go Bull Market is to provide USF student organizations and USF departments with an opportunity to promote themselves and their initiatives in a manner that is safe and maintains a steady traffic flow. Off-campus vendors and not-for-profit organizations are excluded from this version of Bull Market. With continued national COVID-19 mitigation efforts, our desire is to bring the full version of Bull Market back for the Fall 2021 semester.

participating in the grab-n-go bull market
Location & Time
The Grab-N-Go Bull Market will take place every Wednesday on the south side of the Marshall Student Center on the MLK Oak Tree Sidewalk (near the Chick-fil-A/Bento patio area). Run time will be 11:00am until 1:00pm. The Grab-N-Go Bull Market will begin on Wednesday, February 10th and will end on Wednesday, April 7th.
There will be no cost for USF student organizations and departments to participate.
Student Organizations must be registered through the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE) and in good standing in order to participate. For any questions about the standing of a student organization, please contact the CLCE at (813) 974 – 7595 or ORGS@usf.edu.
Reserving a Table
Because USF departments can reserve space for grab-n-go events outside of Bull Market, student organizations will be given priority consideration. In order to reserve a table, a reservation request must be submitted. Reservations will be processed in order of receipt, and those who meet the criteria will receive an e-mail confirmation for their requested participation date and expectations for participation.
The reservation link will be made available on the Bull Market website one week prior to each Market. For example, for the Market on Wednesday, February 10th the link will be made available on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00am.
The reservation link will be made inactive when the Market has reached capacity or 24 hours prior to the week’s Market. For example, if the Wednesday, February 10th Market does not reach capacity, the registration link will close on Tuesday, February 9th at 11:00am.
Same-day, walk-up reservations will not be allowed.
In an effort to make the Grab-n-Go Bull Market accessible to as many participants as possible, USF student organizations and departments will be limited to one Grab-N-Go Market. However, if interest wanes and vacancies exist, allowing participation more than once during the semester may be considered.
Recommendations for Best Use of Grab-n-Go Bull Market
We recommend that you utilize your table to increase awareness about your student organization, department, or program. Having items or flyers that promote these activities helps participants walk away with a reminder. We also suggest using QR codes to direct students to your websites or sign ups. You should have a virtual way to connect with interested participants soon after the Bull Market. “Take and Make” programming is also encouraged. Think about items that participants can take away from the table and gather virtually later to show their creation or participate together in that creation.
