Scholarships: USF

The University of South Florida has three internal scholarships that apply directly to veterans. For more detailed information on each scholarship, please see the links below.

Tillman Foundation Scholarship

USF is one of only 16 universities in the nation selected by the Pat Tillman Foundation as a Partnership University. This means that our student veterans and dependents only compete against partnership school applicants to be named a Tillman Military Scholar and receive a generous scholarship. USF has averaged three scholarships per year, although we have received as many as four. Currently, we have had twelve Tillman scholars with some students

The Berkman Scholarship

The Harold and Muriel Berkman Charitable Foundation, Inc. has created a new scholarship for USF student veterans. This renewable scholarship is for full-time USF undergraduates or any graduate level students with preference for students who are recipients of the Combat Infantryman Badge, Combat Action Badge, wounded veterans missing limbs as a result of combat activities, and veterans who received the Purple Heart. The scholarship is worth $1000
