Text Pages

Alt Text

Alt text refers to the most basic and important information of an image. It is included to ensure that screen reader users can access the image information. It's also important to include alt text in case the image fails to load on a web page — this text will appear in its place. Search engines also use alt text when ranking web pages on their search results page.

In our CMS, the ‘Description’ field functions as alt text when adding an image to a page.
