NTSW Kick Off: Transfer Students Meet and Greet in the Breezeway!
11 am - 2 pm, SVC Breezeway
Transfer students are encouraged to visit with various campus partners and current transfer students in an informal and festive setting. Get your questions answered, find the resources that best meet your needs, and enjoy some giveaways that are designed just for YOU! Also, get tips for your academic success.
Starting Your Adventure Workshop
12:30 – 1:45 pm, MSC 3709
The Global Citizen Award is a fun and flexible way for USF undergraduate students to develop the qualities of a global citizen and be rewarded for their accomplishments. Students can earn the award by completing their own personalized adventure. In this workshop, we will explore what being a Global Citizen is all about, explain the Award details and important deadlines, and answer all the Award questions. Students will also have a chance to meet Global Citizens Project staff and connect with other students interested in global issues.
A Cure for the Common Hold: Zimmerman School and Department of Communication Group Advising
5:30 - 7 pm, CIS 3077
Join the Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications and Department of Communication advising teams as we discuss course options for the spring 2020 semester! We will also be reviewing common holds and how to fix them, a refresher course on how to use Schedule Planner, and more! Students will leave with a recommended schedule and goals for the spring semester.

The Major Expo allows students to explore majors and occupations by completing a sort-card self-assessment which aligns with a world challenge. This will guide them into areas where advisors and faculty from relevant disciplines can assist them in answering questions and sharing how the majors connect to real world problem solving and careers.
CAS Science Tour
12 - 1 pm, meet outside of the MSC Ballroom
The Science advisors will be leading a one hour tour for students interested in pursuing a science or math major after they transfer to USF. This will be a walking tour where we will visit the science side of campus and talk about some key topics that can help facilitate a successful transfer!
WUSF Studio Tour and Faculty Meet-and-Greet
12 – 1:30 pm, meet outside of the MSC Ballroom
The Zimmerman School Advising team will be walking students “down the hill” to the WUSF studios, where some of our senior-level broadcasting courses have moved. You’ll be able to see the studios, and meet some of our dynamic and innovative faculty!
College of Public Health Tour
12 - 1 pm, meet outside of the MSC Ballroom
The College of Public Health will facilitate a tour of USF Health and the college for all students interested in public health. This tour will provide you with the opportunity to speak with an advisor, current students, and professors in the major. We will discuss unique opportunities and key techniques to be a successful transfer student.
Transfer Student Panel
1 – 2 pm, MSC 3705
Current USF transfer students will share their experiences, challenges, triumphs and lessons learned. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
Prospective Student Health Professions Information Session

While Pre-Health is not a major at USF, there are certainly pathways to helping you be successful in your future career as a Health Professional. Meet with the USF Division of Health Professions Advising to learn more about how you can prepare yourself as a pre-health student at USF!
Prospective Student Pre-Law Information Session
2 - 3 pm, SVC 2001
The pre-law info session for perspective students will cover the pre-law advising program and its benefits to pre-law students. This will include talking about one-on-one advising, our various workshops, and our student orgs, but more importantly how to connect with us so that students are privy to information we send them.

This open air, weekly market hosts a combination of vendors, student organizations, and not-for-profit organizations showcasing their products and services to our ever-growing student population. After over 25 years on campus, Bull Market has become one of the largest and oldest traditions at USF!
Fresh Check Day
11 am – 2 pm, MSC Ampitheater
The signature program of the Jordan Porco Foundation, is an uplifting mental health promotion event that includes interactive booths, peer-to-peer messaging, free food, entertainment, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to engage students in a dialogue about mental health in a hopeful atmosphere, and helps to build a bridge between students and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally.
Spring into Science: Group Academic and Career Advising for Math and Science Majors
4:30 – 6 pm, SCA 203
The advisors for Biomedical Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, GeoScience, and Math will be available to help our transfer students plan out their spring schedules, now is the time as registration is right around the corner! The Natural Sciences Career Consultant will also be there to answer questions about common careers student pursue with a science major and share the resources that Career Services can provide.
Multicultural Transfer Student Mixer

Welcome USF transfer students! Join us for an opportunity to meet other transfer students, USF campus partners and multicultural student organizations! Network, socialize and learn more about the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the services we offer students!

Careers and Coffee

Careers & Coffee is open to all USF students and alumni. You are not required to register in advance; casual or business casual attire is appropriate; and, resumes are not required. Attendees can enjoy free coffee while meeting one-on-one with representatives from the host organization, USAA, in a casual setting.
Escape the Library!
1 – 5 pm, USF Tampa Library
Discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in the Library while you learn about our services and resources. Accomplish the goal in the allotted time and there may be a prize awaiting you.

Life Hack: How to USF

This presentation will cover USF Hacks that will have students saying "Why didn't I know about this sooner?!?!" Topics include how to understand the academic calendar, how to prepare to make the most of academic advising appointments, how to take control of their academic plan, and how to navigate course registration process to maximize their optimal schedule.
Junior and Senior Health Professions Group Advising
2 – 4 pm, LIB 309
During the Junior and Senior Health Professions Group Advising Session, you will assess your Pre-Health profile for competitiveness by reviewing GPA, rigor of semester scheduling, extracurricular activities, healthcare experiences, preparation for entrance examination, and more. Additionally, the Health Professions Advisors will be available to answer questions about recommendations to build competitiveness, major options, suggestions for extracurricular activities and any other questions you may have.
Bulls Nite Out: Fright Fest
8 – 11pm, USF Riverfront Park
Bulls Nite Out (BNO) is weekend programming (usually held every Friday night) put on by the Campus Activities Board.
