What does being crowned Homecoming 2020 Royalty mean to you?
It is such an honor to be selected as your USF Homecoming 2020 Royalty! Over the years I have watched so many fellow Bulls grow and become amazing leaders, and I am so excited to represent USF as a student leader with this title. I feel honored to be a part of a tradition that has been around for a long time, and to be chosen by my fellow Bulls makes this accomplishment so much better. While campaigning, I recognized the amount of support and admiration my friends hold in their hearts, and their involvement in helping me achieve this title humbled me. I'm so thankful for their kind words and unwavering support. I would also like to acknowledge that the Homecoming Court this year was comprised of incredible and accomplished students, and it is such an honor to serve with you all! Lastly, I am thankful for the friends I have made throughout this process; such as Adriana and Emilie! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to make this virtual transition possible! It has been difficult handling the ropes, but you handled it well and I'm proud of you!

How will being Homecoming 2020 Royalty impact the remainder of your time at the University of South Florida?
I am so proud to call our USF institution my home and our fellow Bulls my family. I am so excited to remain committed to our USF community throughout the remainder of my time at the University of South Florida and continue to spread school spirit. Being Homecoming 2020 Royalty has given me a new platform with even more exposure to make positive change and impact students. I hope my journey as Homecoming 2020 Royalty inspires other students to run in the future.

What does being crowned Homecoming 2020 Royalty mean to you?
Being crowned Homecoming Royalty 2020 means representing my fellow Bulls in a new way and the journey I have had with all of you these past years! It is a recognition of my commitment to our incredi-BULL institution and my passions for academics, service, and involvement! As part of our USF community, I have presented research through the Judy Genshaft Honors College, promoted interfaith respect through the Religious Studies Club, danced with Bulls for Kids to help Shriners Hospital for Children - Tampa, and raised funds and Alzheimer’s Awareness with fellow Sigma Kappas. Through the Honors College, Religious Studies Department, and Provost’s Scholar Program, as well as involvement opportunities like Global Citizen Project, Tradition Keepers, Involvement Challenge, and Peace Corps Prep, I have enjoyed every minute of every experience with all of you, my fellow Bulls! As I prepare to graduate in December and move forward towards my MA and Ph.D. degrees, I am confident in knowing that as a USF student, I am ready for the next stage of life. I have accomplished almost every goal I set for myself as a member of the USF community (though sometimes going directions I had not planned!), and the experiences, memories, and friendships will always be a part of me.

How will being Homecoming 2020 Royalty impact the remainder of your time at the University of South Florida?
Being Homecoming Royalty 2020 is only possible because of the support of my fellow Bulls, so as I approach graduation (coming up in 2 months), I feel encouraged that the USF community I have given my heart to, in turn, stands behind me! I have put my intentions, my heart, and my mind into USF. Homecoming Royalty traditionally represents outgoing seniors who made a positive impact on their school. Thank you, USF Bulls, for believing in me and helping me grow alongside you these past few years. I promise to always show my USF spirit and Bull pride, and always remain a connected alum! Go Bulls!
