Friday, April 6, 3:30 P.M. - Marshall Student Center, Room 4200 (Chamber)
The networking reception will immediately follow the panel.

The day will be devoted to celebrating USF's Fulbright success, discussing ways to continue and increase awareness about Fulbright programs across campus, learning about programs' application process, and listening to the experiences of past Fulbright scholars and students. This contributes to our already strong USF Fulbright legacy, and will also celebrate the road ahead in terms of the Fulbright legacy at USF.

USF Fulbright Day will consist of two events: a student panel discussion and networking reception event. The panel and reception, held as part of USF Week, will celebrate and promote Fulbright at USF, directly connecting to the goals of USF Week as the event will: "embrace our Fulbright history, celebrate our Fulbright accomplishments, and works towards our future with Fulbright".

The panel, called "My Fulbright Experience", will consist of past student Fulbright recipients, as well as Heather Theisen-Gandara, Manager of Outreach and Recruitment for the Institute for International Education (IIE), which manages the Fulbright US Student Program. The student recipients will discuss their motivations for applying for Fulbright, what they did with their Fulbright in their host country, and how Fulbright impacted them professionally and personally.
