Bio
Eric was born in New Hampshire but lived most of his life in upstate New York. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh, double majoring in Political Science and Latin American Studies, he headed south for the warm weather of Florida. His education continued with a Master’s Degree in Political Science from USF where his thesis was "Cuban Medical Internationalism: A Case for International Solidarity in Foreign Policy Decision Making."
After beginning as an adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College, Eric returned to USF to start his Doctoral degree. His current areas of research are sustainable development, human development, the Capability Approach, and democratic deliberation.
