Director's Welcome

Welcome to LHI. We are seizing the moment to build the future we want through storytelling and story making with a purpose. At LHI we combine research and the arts giving primacy to creativity. We acknowledge community knowledge and lived experience as the power that drives our social justice oriented mission. We are an outward focused institute building momentum from a diversity of knowledges, disciplines, organizations, and communities. We center underrepresented people & communities and place an emphasis on expanding ways of knowing, learning, sharing through public dialog and national storytelling in more inclusive ways. Join us.
