USF Accounting Professor Jennifer Cainas named Cook Prize winner. The prestigious 2024 J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize is a national award from the American Accounting Association recognizing superior teaching in accounting. Cainas won the Cook Prize in the undergraduate category.

Their legacy thrives beneath the Golden Arches. J.C. Prado ('79, Accounting), his wife, Jenifer, and children Rachel and J.C. Jr. have become Florida’s largest McDonald’s franchise holders, with 43 restaurants owned by The Prado Group.
Despite war and concern for loved ones back home, graduating student excels academically to achieve goal. Accounting student Andrii Kostyrko will be graduating summa cum laude.
