Dr. Arianna Banack is an Assistant Professor of English Education and teaches courses in young adult literature and ELA methods. Her research interests include critical literacy, English education, and supporting teachers in incorporating critical lenses when teaching contemporary, diverse young adult literature. She is a co-editor of The ALAN Review. She earned her PhD in Literacy Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and taught high school English in East Hartford, Connecticut. You can find her work published in English Journal, Voices from the Middle, and Journal of Curriculum Studies.
