USF ATAF 2025 and 2026 Award Recipients

ATAF Awards 2026

The University of South Florida was well represented at the recent Athletic Trainers' Association of Florida (ATAF) conference, where its athletic training program and athletic trainers received several distinguished awards. Due to the absence of an ATAF conference last year, ATAF recognized recipients from both 2025 and 2026 during this year's event.

A special congratulations to our USF recipients for being recognized for your dedication, passion, and hard work to support the athletic training profession.

We would also like to recognize Eddie Bunton of Berkeley Preparatory School for receiving the 2026 Secondary School Athletic Trainer of the Year Award. A proud USF alumnus (Class of 1996), Bunton has been a dedicated supporter of the MSAT program through Berkeley Preparatory's partnership as a clinical education site.
