Our online workshops grant you the opportunity to learn and build your skill-set on your own schedule. Each workshop is self-paced but facilitator supported.
Online Instructor Certification
This award-winning workshop provides you with the foundations of effective online instruction. It's a 4 module, 4 week long course. Topics include instructor presence, assessment, content delivery, and accessibility. It also provides you with the opportunity to build a professional development plan for building your online teaching skills. The completion of this course is required for all USF Tampa campus online instructors but open to all.
Enhance Your Online Course with Kaltura
Kaltura is a media hosting solution for USF Tampa campus online instructors. It has powerful tools such as auto-captioning, analytics, and chaptering. Since Kaltura is an extensive tool, we have parsed the workshop into two sections, Kaltura Foundations and Kaltura Advanced. Please note that the completion of Kaltura Foundations is required for faculty to use Kaltura within their online course.
Online Proctoring with Proctorio
This workshop will provide you with an overview of the USF online proctoring solution, Proctorio. You will learn how it works, student preparation, and the critical best practices related to online proctoring.
Camtasia Foundations
This workshop, Camtasia Foundations: Quality Based Rapid Presentations, will provide you with the fundamentals of recording, editing, and best practices. You will learn both the technical aspects of Camtasia along with the best practices related to effective online presentations.
