Students from the Athletic Training Program in the School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine recently took first place in the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA) Quiz Bowl, a knowledge-based competition against athletic training students from seven states.  The team will represent the SEATA at the national competition at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association conference in June.

“We believe the accomplishment reflects the positively on all the students and program as a whole.  This is the third win a USF team has had since transitioning to the graduate level, and that speaks to the strength of USF athletic training in and out of the classroom,” Amanda Tritsch, PhD, LAT, ATC, CSCS, director of the Professional Athletic Training Program and assistant director of SPTRS.
