The Florida Center for Nursing (FCN), headquartered at the University of South Florida College of Nursing, released its 2025 Impact Report today, highlighting a year of expanded outreach and data-driven initiatives designed to strengthen Florida’s nursing workforce.
The report documents the FCN’s key areas of impact in 2025, including:
- Nursing Workforce and Education Research
- New reports in 2025 include Community Engagement Tour Report: Data, Dialogue, & Direction and Florida Health Care Workforce Projections 2022-2037
- Expanded Visibility and Reach
- Two statewide media marketing campaigns
- Education and Professional Development
- 3,766.5 continuing education credits awarded for FCN webinars, conferences, symposiums, and other professional development activities

Moving forward, the Florida Center for Nursing will implement its 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, setting the direction for the organization’s next phase of growth. Current initiatives include expanding education data analysis and building a comprehensive online resource to support Florida’s current and future nurses. We’re proud that the FCN continues this important work in partnership with the USF College of Nursing.
