USF Health College of Nursing Launches New Hospice and Palliative Care Graduate Certificate Program for Nurses
In response to the increasing need for skilled professionals in end-of-life care, USF Health College of Nursing has launched a graduate certificate program in Hospice and Palliative Care. This program will equip registered nurses with the education, training, and clinical hours required to take the Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN®) exam.

In 2006, the University of South Florida College of Nursing launched its Nurse Anesthesiology program with just 12 students. Over the last 18 years, the program has expanded fivefold from its initial size and now ranks among the 10 largest programs in the country by cohort size.

The USF College of Nursing's BSN Program has earned approval as a training program for Career Source Tampa Bay. Their Adult & Dislocated Worker Program, funded by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), can cover program costs, books, materials, and more.
