Sonia Ramírez Wohlmuth

Associate Professor of Instruction in Spanish

Sonia Ramírez Wohlmuth is an instructor of Spanish in the World Language Department at USF. She holds a Ph.D. in Romance Languages (specialization in linguistics) from the University of Florida (2008). Her areas of expertise include diachronic Romance linguistics and Spanish phonology and dialectology. She teaches undergraduate Spanish at all levels, as well as advanced undergraduate/graduate classes in Spanish linguistics.
