Alumni and Friends

The College of Behavioral and Community Sciences (CBCS) is a vital and integral part of the USF community. Here on campus and throughout Tampa Bay our academic, research, and community partnered programs strive to positively impact the lives of our students, faculty, and the university community. At the national level the research and teaching influence of CBCS faculty members increases the knowledge and understanding of a variety of critical issues that touch the lives of all humans – including at-risk children and youth, aging issues, language development, and mental health.

As a college, CBCS has many things to be proud of in its short two year history. We are already recognized as one of the nation's premiere research, teaching, and training centers. But, more work needs to be done to accomplish our goal of continuing to recruit and retain the best and brightest students and faculty into our college. To continue this level of passion and commitment in education and service we must offer both need and merit-based scholarships for students, opportunities for multidisciplinary engaged research, and hands-on learning and teaching opportunities. We rely on gifts from alumni, friends, and community partners to help us reach our financial goals as a college. Your support will help us to remain one of the most influential resources for behavioral and community sciences in the region, nation, and world.

At CBCS, we understand that philanthropy is a choice that is based on individual situations, resources, and needs. As a donor please know that you have a wide variety of options when making a charitable contribution. Current gifts, deferred gifts, trust arrangements, and estate gifts all make a direct impact our college, each in a unique way.
