Students get inside look into future careers during social work job fair

People attend the social work job fair

Students converse with agency representatives.

Eighty students, including many Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work students, attended the School of Social Work job fair earlier this month. The job fair provided an opportunity for students to meet with the 50 professionals from 28 community agencies that were represented.

Professionals from several agencies noted that students were well-prepared, intelligent, and "ready to be hired." Assistant Instructor Akanke Omorayo-Adenrele, MSW, Academic Program Specialist Valentina Arcila, and the school's academic support team and field department organized the event.
