Description: Join the REACH Peer Educators in the MSC all week and pick up a BAC card, discovery healthy alternative to alcohol, and learn the appropriate serving sizes for your drinks.

Building Healthy Relationships

Description: Would you like to make the most out of your relationships? For National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, this drop-in group will address ways you can make friends and socialize at an event without the use of alcohol and the impact of alcohol on healthy relationship functioning.

Learning to Let Go
Presented by the Counseling Center

Description: Do you worry, feel anxious or are you nervous all the time? This drop-in group will teach you skills to help you manage your experience of difficult emotions that get in the way of life goals. We will discuss the skill of "urge surfing" to deal with difficult desires to cope in problematic ways.

Mindfulness Meditation

Description: Learn and practice the basics of meditation including mindfulness, clam breathing, body scans, progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery. For National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, we will explore how substances can impair one's ability to be mindful as well as how to use mindfulness techniques to cope with cravings.
