Master of Education Concentrations

M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction

The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction offers three concentration areas related to science education:

• Secondary Education: Biology
• Secondary Education: Chemistry
• Secondary Education: Physics

This program is ideal for students who are certified/licensed teachers or who have professional experience in education. Most students completing one of the Science Education program's M.Ed. concentrations are already certified teachers, have backgrounds in informal science education (e.g., museums, zoos, nature centers), or teach in higher education settings.
