Beginning Drawing

USF students in Ezra Johnson’s Beginning Drawing course have a unique opportunity to develop their drawing skills through rigorous studio exercises from the comfort of their dorm rooms. 

Assistant Professor Ezra Johnson partnered with Digital Learning to design and develop a fully online version of the course that’s traditionally taught face-to-face. In this newly reimagined iteration, students encounter instructor-led demonstration videos and interactive lectures that promote the exploration of contemporary and historical figures.

There is no shortage of student collaboration in this online course as students review each other’s drawing assignments, provide constructive feedback, and showcase their work through weekly digital galleries.
