If your request involves a solution that is not currently owned or used at USF, it is recommend that you first partner with IT to evaluate your options to determine the solution that best meets your needs. You are encouraged to begin this process in advance of the tech fee submission cycle, as the time to start and complete an evaluation varies depending on its complexity.

Send a detailed email to requesttechfee@usf.edu with the following information:

• Contact information for the person/people who can give details about the request
• A brief (1-2 sentences) description of what the request is about or the problem to solve

An IT representative will reach out to you to start a concept proposal for your request.
