Dr. Emad Ismail Mansour is a Learning and Development Facilitator in the Academy for
Teaching and Learning Excellence (ATLE). Dr. Mansour earned his second Ph.D. in Administration
of Higher Education from Auburn University and his first Ph.D. in Plant Pathology
from the University of Illinois. Some of his past professional experiences prior to
joining ATLE include appointments in The Center for Faculty Engagement and Development
at the University of Houston, The Biggio Center for Enhancement of Teaching and Learning
at Auburn University and The Deanship of Skills Development at King Saud University
Dr. Mansour has provided teaching consultations for both faculty and graduate teaching assistants and has been facilitating/coordinating educational development programs since 2005. His research interests are focused on qualities of excellent teaching, peer review of teaching and active learning.
