Sara Friedman is a Learning and Development Facilitator in the Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ATLE). Sara earned a B.A. in Psychology from USF and a M.S. in Instructional Systems from Florida State University and has worked in higher education since 2011. Prior to joining ATLE, Sara has worked with faculty as a Teaching Assistant and as an Instructional Design Consultant with Tallahassee Community College.
As a faculty developer, Sara is particularly interested in providing faculty with usable information, creative strategies, and tools for enriching teaching and learning experiences with students. She is also concerned with providing training and instructional support to teaching assistants. Sara believes that by offering faculty effective teaching techniques and best practices, the learning experience at USF will be enhanced for all those involved.
