Our course is offered on an open enrollment basis, with no application required. The program is a great fit for anyone who wants to improve business processes and is seeking to earn the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt credential.

    The Lean Six Sigma program will encompass all the necessary requirements for you to obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification including training hours, project assessment and the exam.
    Upon successfully completing this program, participants receive a Certification from USF Continuing Education.

The Lean Six Sigma program will encompass all the necessary requirements for you to obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification including training hours, project assessment and the exam.

The program focuses on managing quality projects utilizing the fundamentals of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Lean topics include the concepts of the elimination of waste and reduction of cycle time in organizational processes. Six Sigma principles consist of problem solving techniques, data collection and analysis, reduction of process variation, process capability and cost analysis.

Course Structure
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) program is broken out into five modules. Students select and work on a real problem while applying learned techniques and tools to effectively resolve the problem and meet specified project goals. Convenient classes are offered in Tampa on an open enrollment basis. No application required.

What You Will Learn
Learning to build and use quality processes has been shown to increase customer satisfaction and eliminate waste. Students will learn the principles of the DMAIC process to achieve these goals.


What You Will Earn

You will earn continuing education contact hours/PDUs and you will receive a letter of completion, which may apply for professional development credit. Upon successfully completing this program, you will receive a Certification from USF Continuing Education.
