Doctor of Philosophy
The Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Special Education focuses on urban special education, special education policy, and university-school partnerships in preparing researchers, teacher educators, and educational leaders.
The Grad. Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder is a program of study that provides teachers with additional expertise in the field of educating students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The Grad. Certificate in Disabilities Education: Severe/Profound supports teachers and related professionals to work more effectively with students who have labels of severe/profound disabilities in sensitively accessing general education curriculum.
The Gifted Education Program provides advanced training for certified teachers to work with gifted and talented children and to work with other teachers on a consultant and/or collaborative basis.
