Academic Continuity Resources

Overview

Updated: 3/30/20

Academic continuity refers to the continuation of instructional delivery at the University of South Florida through our learning management tool Canvas and providing students with continuing remote access to support services.

USF will continue fully remote instruction for the duration of the spring semester.

USF will deliver a full schedule of online courses throughout Summer sessions A, B, and C, so that continuing students can maintain their academic progress and new students can begin their journey at the university. To the extent that conditions permit, we may add complementary on-campus delivery of instruction and support services in Summer session B.

To assist faculty in through this move, we have created a USF Toolkit for Instructional Continuity to provide guidance, strategies, and resources needed to make a swift transition from face-to-face delivery. This Toolkit considers the simplest way to deliver digital content while meeting student learning outcomes and aligning with your current syllabus.

USF is committed to providing our students with essential services to support their success. Student support personnel across all three campuses will continue to provide essential support services through the USF Toolkit for Continuity of Student Support. This guide includes links to helpful resources on all campuses.

This Academic Continuity site will be continually updated, so please be sure to revisit frequently. For current updates regarding the Universities response to coronavirus (COVID-19), please go to www.usf.edu/coronavirus.
