About the Symposium

Creativity is an essential component of a life well-lived—the good life that the ancient Greeks spoke of. We can theorize about the beginning of time when perhaps a profound imbalance set into motion a natural progression that is furthered every time human beings come together, and amplified every time they come together to make music. Our individual journeys take on a metaphysical dimension when we consider that our creative pursuits follow this progression, feeding our human spirit—our spirituality. We are much better together than we are when we are separate. This conference is all about these ideas and the ones that emerge from our discussions.
