Global Innovation to Disrupt Human Trafficking

About the Event

Human Trafficking is a global humanitarian concern that affects the Tampa Bay community, the Southeastern United States, and indeed the entire world. Many individuals and organizations engage in a wide variety of efforts to prevent human trafficking, rehabilitate survivors, and raise awareness about the issue. Join us in exploring pioneering approaches to end human trafficking during the Global Innovation to Disrupt Human Trafficking Forum.

From international supply chain disruption to law enforcement task force initiatives, to creative healing practices, this Forum will encompass innovative ways to end both sex and labor trafficking.

The Global Innovation to Disrupt Human Trafficking Forum will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in the Marshall Student Center Ballroom on the University of South Florida Tampa Campus.

We encourage all who care deeply about the issue of human trafficking to register for and attend this Forum. The event is free and open to all USF students, staff, and faculty, as well as interested community members and professional practitioners.

The Forum will include:

  • Presentation by world-renowned expert
  • Specialist panel discussions
  • Participant workshops
  • Visual and performance art by survivors and current USF students
