Each year, the University of South Florida recognizes employees who exemplify "above and beyond" performance excellence through their daily commitment to the University.

Congratulations to Maura DeJesus, Lorna Henley, Telisha McKenzie, and Selecia Watson for receiving a 2019 USF Outstanding Staff Team award for their work on the administrative team for the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities (FCIC) within the Department of Child & Family Studies. The members of this FCIC team provide support for all transactions, reconciliation, and reporting requirements associated with the FCIC’s business administration. Their work allows the FCIC division of 120 faculty and staff to focus on the FCIC mission to provide training, technical assistance, research, systems change, and dissemination of information to support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Collectively the FCIC administrative team has 63 years (yes years!) of experience in this center. Two of the members have each contributed more than 25 years of dedicated service to FCIC, CFS, and CBCS. The two newer members have enthusiastically embraced the work and mission of the programs.

The 2019 award ceremony, originally scheduled for April 10th, 2020, has been postponed until further notice.
