Course Overview
The Employment Law Paralegal Specialty Certificate explores the laws, workplace issues, and legal processes that shape the employment relationship.
You will study the history of employment law, labor and union issues, ADA, sexual harassment, discrimination, age discrimination, and employee rights. The program also introduces labor-management relations in union settings, including collective bargaining representatives, unfair labor practices, economic weapons in labor disputes, and the formation and administration of labor contracts.
This self-paced online program gives learners six months of access and can be completed from anywhere with an internet connection. Participants are also assigned a judge mentor or facilitator for guidance during the program.
