The University of South Florida (USF) will serve as a host site for College Board’s Pre-Advanced Placement (AP) Summer Institute on June 13-17, 2022.

The Pre-AP Summer Institute is a College Board endorsed program that provides professional development to teachers of Pre-AP courses at schools across the nation. The Pre-AP Program launched in the 2018-19 school year with eight courses and expanded to three additional courses in the 2020-21 academic year.

USF’s AP Summer Institute is hosted by the David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching each year during the summer term and is the world’s largest host site of the College Board endorsed program. USF’s Pre-AP Summer Institute will be the only site offered in the state of Florida this summer.

Registration for the Pre-AP Summer Institute opens on Dec. 1. To register and review the list of courses available, visit www.usf.edu/apsi.
