College of Education Faculty and Staff recognized for outstanding teaching and advising

Congratulations are in order for Professor Eugenia Vomvoridi-Ivanovic who was recommended by her colleagues from the College of Education to receive the 2021/22 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. Vomvoridi-Ivanovic currently teachers in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Learning. This award is made as part of USF’s continuing effort to enhance undergraduate teaching by recognizing and rewarding excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Alyssa Chism

Congratulations to USF’s College of Education staff member Alyssa Chism who was recently recognized for her profound work as a student academic advisor. Chism currently works in Student Academic Services. She was one of six to receive the Outstanding Undergraduate Academic Advising Award where she demonstrated excellence, innovation and effectiveness while advising students.  

Vomvoridi-Ivanovic and Chism, along with other recipients will be recognized at the Faculty Honors & Awards Reception, scheduled for Wednesday, November 16, at 5 p.m. in the ISA building on the Tampa campus.
