The David C. Anchin Center hosted State and District Teachers of the Year for the program, “Celebrating Excellence: Professional Learning with Florida Teachers of the Year”

The David C. Anchin Center hosted State and District Teachers of the Year for the program, “Celebrating Excellence: Professional Learning with Florida Teachers of the Year” on September 9, 2023, in TECO Hall.

Representatives from Pinellas County, Sarasota County, and Hillsborough County jointly presented a positive outlook on the teaching profession, including Laura Meeham, Hillsborough 2022 District Teacher of the Year; Nicolette Barone, Hillsborough 2024 District Teacher of the Year; Jennifer Jaso, Sarasota 2023 District Teacher of the Year; Adam Zele Pinellas 2024 District Teacher of the Year; and Sarah Painter Florida 2022 Teacher of the Year.  The audience of USF education students and teachers from the surrounding school districts had the opportunity to ask questions and have dialogue with these amazing educators.
