Visiting Social Entrepreneurship Professor In Residence
As a seasoned executive, Richard Berman has held healthcare, educational, housing and community development leadership positions around the world. In the the public sector, he has worked with several foreign governments, the United Nations, the US Department of Health, the FDA, and as a cabinet level official for the State of New York. In the private sector, he has worked with Manhattanville College, McKinsey & Co, NYU Medical Center, Westchester Medical, EmblemHealth, and numerous startups.
Berman serves as the co-founder/CEO of Licas, and an Entrepreneur in Residence at GaTech's ATDC and serves on several boards.
Berman attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1966 and his MBA and MHA degrees in 1968. He holds an honorary Doctor of Laws from Manhattanville College and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from New York Medical College.
