Chad Garcia
Chad received his M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida and is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Education. He has been with Digital Learning since 2014 and currently serves as a Learning Design Project Manager. Prior to joining USF, Chad spent 6 years in the K-12 public school system as a reading and language arts teacher. Chad’s areas of interest include enhancing student engagement and collaboration in online learning and the use of emerging technologies to increase the effectiveness of digital pedagogy and online curricula. He enjoys working with faculty to find technology-driven solutions to online instruction.
Chad is a native Floridian, born and raised. He enjoys reading and writing, especially reading to his daughters (they just finished the Harry Potter series). He enjoys stories of all kinds and the opportunity to make up some of his own.
