Jared Brown
After earning a B.A. in Sport and Recreation management from James Madison University, Jared was given the opportunity to combine his love for sports and passion for video production at both Swarthmore College and the University of Memphis. There he was able to build production teams that created engaging and eye-catching media that gained national attention for the universities. Jared joined the Digital Learning team at The University of South Florida in 2015 as a producer before growing into the role of Senior Cinematographer and then his current role as Creative Director. Jared leads an award-winning media production team, creating innovative and engaging digital media to help drive the university’s mission and teach the next generation of students. Jared is a three-time, Emmy Award winning Director for the team’s nationally recognized USF Police Department Lip Sync Video and Cape Canaveral Documentary.
His passion for video production has taken him around the globe, introduced him to amazing people, and given him once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. For that fact, Jared will always be “that guy” with a camera, needing to capture the moment!
