Koichi Sato

Koichi Sato

Koichi worked as an instructional design technology specialist, taught instructional technology courses, and worked as a Code.org regional partner program manager for many years prior to joining the team in 2023. He earned his B.A. in English Language Education from Japan, his first master’s degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of Northern Colorado, his second master’s degree in Instructional Technology (M.S.Ed.) from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and his Ed.D. in Internet-Based Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Koichi is enthusiastic about leveraging multiple modalities (esp. audiovisual and text) to create the digital learning experience that better accommodates diverse learners and is also interested in using mixed reality for education. In his spare time Koichi likes to volunteer as a master calligrapher and also enjoys taking road trips to natural hot springs.
