Laura Aguado

Laura earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2018. She was a teacher for 5 years until she decided to dive into the world of instructional design. She enrolled in an instructional design program, Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA), and quickly realized she had a passion for designing courses that engage learners, set them up for success, and are visually appealing. She plans on getting her masters in instructional design soon! Laura considers herself to be a lifelong learner and enjoys learning more about instructional design.

Fun fact, Laura actually goes by Poppy! Don’t ask her how she got this nickname, she has no idea. Outside of instructional design, Poppy loves reading thrillers, watching The Office on repeat, trying new restaurants, admiring Florida’s sunsets, and spending time with her family and dog.
