Summer Camps

USF Everyone Can Code Camp (Grades 4-6)

The USF Everyone Can Code 2024 summer camp is a coding camp designed for girls and boys in grades 4-6. This coding camp helps elementary students identify code in their everyday lives and teaches the basic principles of coding for beginners using Apple’s Swift Playgrounds, Minecraft, Root and Sphero robots, and more.

Everyone Can Code

Camp Details

Campers will have the opportunity to LEARN coding basics, PRACTICE their skills through coding games, puzzles and activities, APPLY what they have learned as they create with code, and CONNECT the experiences from camp to the real-world through problem solving and critical thinking. At the end of the week, campers will even design and prototype their own app using the skills they have learned.

Campers not only learn coding basics, they also begin to see how coding is a part of their everyday lives and may even become a future career option. This is a beginning coding camp for kids with little to no experience in computer coding.
