About Us

MESA College Prep

Florida MESA College Prep is our afterschool program starting in the 2024-2025 academic school year. Florida MESA serves student programs in high schools throughout the Tampa Bay Region. 

Each school program or chapter is facilitated by a teacher (typically a math and/or science teacher) from their participating school.

MESA Chapters include the following:

  • One (1) MESA Advisor 
  • 15-25 MESA students
  • One (1) hour afterschool/week
  • Two (2) College and Career Visits
  • College readiness planning and resources
  • Family programming
  • Engineering Design Competitions
  • MESA Network of Support
