Overview
Students who become involved in MESA learn to shape thier own educational expereinces by becoming active learners, collaborators, critical thinkiners, engineers, innovators, and inventors. The role of the student goes beyond traditional learning; it invovles active participation, collaboration, innovation, and a committment ot making a positive impact in the world through the application of mathematics, engineering, and science!
MESA Chapters
In your MESA chapter you will work with other MESA students to engage in STEM activities and projects, attend field trips to the University of South Florida and STEM Industries, participate in team-based competitions, and so much more. Click the button to find a MESA chapter near you!
Projects and Competitions
You and your team have been working all year to identify a problem, solve for the problem, and engage in improvement cycles to design a project or device that addresses a barrier that your user faces. MESA hosts these team-based competitions so that your team can showcase their project, meet and/or compete against othe MESA students, gain STEM exposure from industry and higher education professionals, and more!
STEM Exploration and Resources
Part of Florida MESA's mission is to provide pathways for STEM college and career programs, here you will find resources regarding College and Career Visits, STEM degree programs and career opportunities available for all MESA students. You, your advisor, or family members can explore these different resources together to learn about all of the different career options, degrees, and more!
