Your official transcript housed with University of South Florida is bound by the Federal law FERPA (Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974).
University of South Florida has retained Credentials Inc. to accept transcript orders over the Internet. Please click on the TranscriptsPlus links below to enter your order or check the status of your transcript order. USF has appointed Credentials Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts. The PDF transcript that is produced using this services contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company's website that is provided during the delivery process. Credentials Inc. has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of USF and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions. If you are uncomfortable placing an order over the Internet, you can call Credentials Inc. at 847-716-3005 to place your transcript request. There is an additional operator surcharge for placing orders over the telephone.
You may also request copies of your official USF transcript by supplying the Office of the Registrar with your signed authorization. By law, your request must include your signature and date, and you must have no financial obligations to the University. During non-peak hours, transcripts are normally mailed/ready for pick-up from the Tampa campus within two working days after your request is received. A USF Transcript Request Form is still available for a limited time (click here to download now) or at the ay of the USF Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota-Manatee Campuses. Transcripts may be requested in person Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9:00am - 4:30pm. During non-peak times, transcripts will be available for pick-up within one hour.
Explain any special instructions such as "hold for your degree to be posted", "hold for your current term grades to be posted", or "hold for a grade change to be processed". Your degree(s) posts to your transcript approximately six weeks after the commencement ceremony. If you are currently enrolled, term grades are posted approximately one week after all final exams end.

To order your transcript in person, hand-carry your $10.00 per copy payment and your USF Transcript Request Form to a USF Cashier's Office or you may pay online via OASIS.
Note: Official transcripts for students who previously attended New College of USF or participated in the M.D. program of the College of Medicine must be requested directly from those colleges:

Deceased Students - Privacy rights under FERPA cease upon the death of the student. Requests for information made immediately upon the death of a student should be referred to the Dean of Students. In general, information from education records is only released to the executor of the deceased student's estate or with the consent of the deceased student's next of kin, upon submission of appropriate documentation. Otherwise, upon the death of a student, his or her education record will remain confidential.
