Student Leaders

New Student Connections provides the opportunity for new students to link up with current USF peers. PALs, or Peer Advisor Leaders, are dedicated to helping you find the answers you need, point you in the right direction, and keep you informed of upcoming social and academic involvement opportunities. Champions are our front-line responders who ensure that the daily operations of the office run smoothly and effectively. These student employees support the professional staff with key projects and event management. Students awarded with Federal Work Study funds are eligible for this position.

Join Our Student Leader Team

Student Leaders support all new students throughout their first year at USF. They focus on outreach and relationship building through programs, mentoring, and intentional conversations to provide a positive transition for all new students. Become Our Undergraduate Intern

The NSC Undergraduate Intern works in collaboration with NSC Professional Staff to lead logistics and program execution to support the needs of the office and new students. Throughout the internship, this person works with programmatic and logistical initiatives, as well as serves as a peer coach to new students in social, personal, or academic areas of their college transition.
