BIOGRAPHY

From the home of the Kentucky Derby & the country’s best basketball program (Go Wildcats!), Chazman is a first year PhD student in the Communication Department, who is a student focused professional whose pedagogy and practice is directly related to her advocacy for issues of social equity that include identity development, education reform, and race & ethnicity. Chazman is a graduate of both the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Western Kentucky University with a Master of Arts in Education in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Chazman has experience working with students in the functional areas of housing, academic advising, and student success. Most recently, Chazman served a Coordinator for Academic Initiatives with the Department of Residential Education at the University of South Florida.
