Coming from Tampa or from Bradenton on I-275:
Take the Tropicana Field exit to I-195. Follow the interstate signs that say “4th Street South,” and which will direct you to the end of I-175. Once you’ve exited, you’re on 5th Ave. South (Dali Blvd.) at its intersection with 4th Street South.
Remain on 5th Ave. South, follow it through the next traffic light, crossing 3rd Street South. Once through the intersection, ease into the right lane and at the light at of 2nd Street South, take a right on to 2nd Street South. Residence Hall One (RHO) will be to your left as you turn right on to 2nd Street South.
There are parking meters on both sides of 2nd Street South as well as around the corner to your right on 6th Ave. South.
The easiest access to the parking garage, located directly behind the Peter Rudy Wallace Florida Center for Teachers, is from 6th Ave. South. Visitor parking permits are required, and can be purchased at the Visitor Center at the intersection of 5th Ave. S. (Dali Blvd.) and 2nd Street South.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS BUREAU
The Neighborhood News Bureau is located at the Enoch Davis Center, 1111 18th Ave S, St. Petersburg.
From I-275 Northbound:
Take the 26th Avenue South exit. At the bottom of the exit, take a right on to 26th Ave. South. Turn left at the intersection of 26th Avenue South and 16th Street South. Take a right on 18th Avenue South and the Center will be on your left.
From I-275 Southbound (from Tampa):
Take the 22nd Avenue South exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a left on to 22nd Avenue South. Turn left at the intersection of 22nd Avenue South and 16th Street South. Take a right on 18th Avenue South and the Center will be on your left.
Take 3rd or 4th Street South all the way to 18th Avenue South. Take a right onto 18th Avenue South and follow it all the way the Enoch Davis Center, which will be on your right.
